Hello, world! I’m Matahari.
I'm the most curious person I know. Growing up, I've always wanted to know how things worked and why things happen. That led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Design at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, where I learned how to ideate, create, and prototype. I completed my toolbox with skills in analytics and project management that I perfected during my time as a Management of Technology (Information Systems) graduate student, also at NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
During most of my undergraduate studies, I worked as a grader and tutor for the Computer Science department at NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Science. I was also a private tutor for college students who needed help with math. I continued to become a course assistant in graduate school, where I co-led lectures and workshops with Professor Joshua Clayton for three semesters. On top of that, I have 2+ years of working in the tech industry.
Outside of work and academia, you can catch me around New York running road races or capturing graduation and proposals. I’m a 2-time Half Marathon finisher and 2024 NYC Marathon runner!
