Project Title: Market Assessment and Strategic Recommendations for Biotechnologically Engineered Sustainable Non-Toxic Professional Cleaning Products

Project Objectives: To develop a strategic marketing and pilot program plan for introducing BTP’s product to the US through the F&B industry.

Scope:

  • Conduct interviews with end users and cleaning service providers to comprehensively understand their needs and attitudes

  • Execute a SWOT analysis to identify the company's strengths and weaknesses within the current market scenario

  • Develop a go-to-market strategy for both the products and the company, focusing on a successful entry into the US market

  • Create a pilot program (proof-of-concept) to implement and validate the formulated go-to-market strategy

Expected Deliverables:

  • Market Research: User-centric and market-driven research of potential customers in different industries, product-market fit, and competitive landscape

  • Business Case: Business plan and go-to-market strategy based on the market research and previous capstone results

  • Pilot Program Plan: A developed pilot program with strategies and recommendations based on the business case

Assumptions:

  • The project team will have access to necessary resources and information required to conduct market research and analysis.

  • Consumer/users will be willing to participate in interviews and provide valuable insights and feedback.

  • The company is committed to implementing the project recommendations and pursuing opportunities identified during the market assessment.

Constraints:

  • Project timeline: The project must be completed at the end of the Fall 2023 semester (December 15).
